Crate Paper and Gelatos page layout with Video Tutorial

Hello Scrappers, Leonie here today.

I'm sharing a lovely page I created using the delightful Flea Market Collection by
Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper.
I've teamed it up with a background I made using Design Memory Craft Gelatos.
All of which you can find in the Sassy Scrapper Store.

Here's a video I made showing how I put my page together.
I've included lots of general little tips and some fun techniques I like to use with
Gelatos and the Faber Castell tool sets.
Enjoy. :)

All the products I used in the video are linked below to where you can find them in the
Sassy Scrapper Store.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers,

Prima Delight- Heaven Sent

Hi There!

One of the hottest trends right now is feathers! I'm really loving them & I think they look gorgeous in the Prima Delight collection. But the Prima resin feathers they are just WOW!!! so gorgeous & shabby chic looking or can be funked up with some paints/mists. I couldn't help myself & I had to use them on another page!

I'm still chuckling at the title I chose for this page Heaven Sent. My little Evie Jools is far from an Angel but hey a Mum can pretend can't she!!

I just love the softness in this collection & love the mix of peach/blue/green. So pretty!

I'm also crushing on this Prima brick stamp too! (& it is a total bargain for just $2.95!)
The left feather is the resin & the right is a fussy cut feather from the papers
Another fav the Prima resin key!

Goodmorning Scrappy Friends,
Happy Saturday to you, can you believe we are in another month already...Where has the time gone..

We would like to thank the gorgeous Joanne Bain for Guest Designing for us last month.. We always love having Jo on our team and appreciate all her amazing work...
Thankyou so much  Jo..

We would also like to welcome our Guest Designer for the month of November the lovely:

Keren Tamir...

Here is a little about Keren

My name is Keren Tamir and I'm 39 years old. I am a wife to a wonderful husband who is very supportive of my scrapbooking hobby and a mother of two amazing kids; a 12 year old boy and a 6 years old girl. I've been scrapbooking for 10 years and I mainly scrapbook about my family. I love to create and experiment with many different mediums and techniques.
My style is mainly Shabby chic. I use lots of flowers and vines in my projects. I also love using lots of different mediums on my layouts. My style is always evolving and that’s one of the things I love about this art.
One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. However over the couple of years, I’ve started to enjoy another aspect of scrapbooking. I love the artistic outlet that it gives me. I love to create and I’m passionate about what I do.
I’m extremely happy to be November's Guest Designer at Sassy Scrappers.
I hope you enjoy my creations!!
Keren

On Your Trolley - Crate Close Knit

Hello Sassy friends!
Hopefully you are settling in nicely to November.
I am cosying up to Crate's new Close Knit collection this month and loving it!
So many gorgeous goodies (in true Crate style!) it's hard to say no to that one extra piece of something pretty (insert hand slap here!)
My heart leapt when I saw this insanely cute wagon ephemera... I had the perfect pics to scrap!
I've chosen to do a sort of film strip but staggered the design and pulled out one large image.

A hint of green dots around the layout. Creating your own epoxy stickers using the Epiphany Craft Round tool is way too much fun! The green flower sticker was punched out of a sheet of 'Fine China' Maggie Holme's Flea Market, I bought especially for this reason.
The majority of the title was cut on my Silhouette. Cardstock can be very tricky to cut when using fine scripts. Slow your speed right down for less pulling and tearing.
My journalling has been given a quick makeover using a very cool Photo Overlay.
I did struggle to apply it to the paper without too much adhesive showing - if any of
you have any staple-free tips, I am all ears!
Wishing you a fabulous crafty weekend!
I am lucky enough to be witnessing the legend that is Heidi Swapp in action... Yippee!

Till next time!
Chantalle x
