GDT - Joanne Bain - Prima Engraver

Hi again!!
Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to Olga for her patience with me this month and also for allowing me to be her guest designer. You are a one wonderful lady and this kit was AMAZING!!! I loved it. You know my style to a tee.
For my last project for the month I created another layout. The Prima Engraver collection was truly amazing to work with. So easy to use and perfect for my fussy cutting addiction.

Oh how do I love the browns in this collection and I chose to go with a full colour photo this time to make the photo pop. Once again lots of layers and fussy cutting. 

To add extra detail to the behind my photo I used a gorgeous Bo Bunny doily and also the Prima Engraver logo, the dark chocolate of this worked beautifully.

I created some contrasting rolled paper scrolls from scraps of patterned paper to add an extra wow to the page.

Prima Divine- Kayla

Shell Carman here sharing my last Prima Divine Post for this month. If you are looking for a pretty/shabby chic collection then Prima Divine is for you!

This is an old photo of Kayla when she was just 10 weeks old. She is about to celebrate her 5th birthday in April. This photo to me sums up her personality in an instant. She looks so peaceful & serene in the photo even though she had a rough start to life spending her first 2 weeks in hospital in the special care nursery.

Prima Divine- My Darling Girls

Hi There! Shell with you today. I've been playing with the gorgeous Prima Divine collection this month & I'm still crushing on the shabby chic goodness of it all! With a beautiful soft palette & gorgeous vintage images it is so much fun to work with! My girls asked me to take a few photos of them out the front of the house the other day. They love posing a saying 'I'm a fashionista'. I think I have 2 little Divas on my hands! Because they are usually goofing around & totally over posing it is hard to get a nice shot but I did mange to get them to sit still for about 2 minutes for this photo!

Because the background paper I used is so busy I have toned down the amount of embellishments I used on this page. The repeat use of doilies & 2 similar clusters of flowers allow the eyes to rest so that the page doesn't look too busy.
