Webster's Pages Girl Land!

Good morning everyone, it is Hetty here today with my first blog post sharing some of the beautiful Webster's Pages Girl Land papers. Olga also send me some gorgeous matching Prima and Manor House flowers and I think the colours are just fantastic.

First up we have a layout. This is a photo of one of my twin girls at a birthday party where she had her face painted, butterflies seem to be her thing at the moment.

and a close up:
Just love the teal and lilac colours together with a splash of soft yellow!

Next is a card.

this time I used some stronger colours like the pink and blue, love the effect.

Here are some of the flowers I used:

Of course all materials are available right here in the Sassy store, so why not come and have a browse and maybe treat yourself to a thing or two :)

Hope you all have a lovely week.

Hugs

Off The Page With Kaisercraft Miss Match

Materials Used – BTP Home Word, Papers – P876 Odds, P878 Junk, Paint, Hooks.

The second I saw the “Home” word, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it – turn it into a key holder!  I have a really narrow bit of wall, just inside my front door, which was the perfect spot to put it, so no more lost keys for me! I love the warm, cozy feel of the Miss Match papers, and I just gave them a bit of a quick sand for a nice rustic look.  This was such a quick and fun project to make, and would be perfect to make as a gift for someone special.

All the Kaisercraft Miss Match Papers and embellishments and lots of beyond the page projects are available on the Sassy Scrappers website SHOP HERE FOR MISS MATCH COLLECTION AND SHOP HERE FOR BTP

Thanks Samantha...

Scraps + Cardstock = Cards

Huge Hello Everyone!!

Well I'm back! and excited to share with a couple of cards i have made :}

Now i have to admit I'm not a cardie....
But i do so love to have a go!

Have you gone to buy a card lately??
some are as expensive as $10 -$18!!

Are you thinking what I'm thinking??...that is money i could be spending on Scrapbooking supplies from Sassy scrapper!!...hehe

So i ALWAYS make a be deal when i comes to the end of any kit/paper scraps that i make a couple of cards.

This way i use up my scraps and i always have a few Cards on hand when a birthday pops up!

If your ever stuck for inspiration with cards remember you can always use a sketch, even if it's for a layout just down size it and you have a starting point :}

So for my cards I'm working with the scraps from my BoBunny Alora kit.

The main papers i used for these cards from this Bobunny range were....

I also could not help myself to use some AC Thickers and a dash little bit of Kaisercraft Bling :}

Kaisercraft Attitude! Lots to Share!

Good morning everyone, it's Sam Hauzer here again! Can you believe it's the start of another week already? I've got lots of projects here to share with you all, using the fabulous Kaisercraft Attitude! range....

I have to say, this has to be one of my favourite boy ranges EVER! It is just so easy to scrap with, and the colours are perfect for boys of all ages. The specialty paper in this collection, “Industrial”, (which I used as my base paper here),  has the most fabulous texture. I sanded it all over to bring a bit more definition to it, and I just love the effect!

Here's another layout using this gorgeous range...

The die cuts (Collectables) that Kaisercraft bring out with their collections are just fantastic for putting together quick pages. And how gorgeous is that wood paper?

Now for an off the page project!

As soon as I saw the Attitude! range, I knew it would be perfect for scrapping Jack’s birthday party photos.  He’s getting to that age where I don’t really use the cutesy sort of papers on his layouts any more, and this range couldn’t have been more perfect for his age group. I think my favourite thing about this range is the alpha stickers. I just love that font!

And lastly, a card...

The Collectables in the Attitude! collection are perfect for using on cards. With great sentiments on them like “So Proud of You” and “What a Star”, it couldn’t be easier to whip up some cards for those boys in your life.

I hope you enjoyed this rather long blog post! If you love the look of the fabulous Kaisercraft Attitude! range, make sure you pop into the Sassy Scrappers Shop HERE to check it all out.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Prima Easel Card ....

Hello again

Just popping in today with an Easel Card I made using the Nature's Garden Collection by Prima.

Easel Cards are super easy to make and very effective.
Next month I hope to do a Step by Step Tutorial for you.
For this card, I used Raven Bazzill for my base and
the Natures Garden Fairy Paper (#950057) for my pattern.

Natures Garden Fairy Paper-Natures Garden Fairy Paper
The pretty Prima flower was a little too cream for the colour scheme,
so I misted it lightly in a Mauve Chalk Mist to match the papers - I used the same colour mist on the Imaginaurim Desgns Butterflies.
Namazzi Ivory 2pk-Namazzi Ivory 2pk
 #557218 Namazzi Ivory 2pk

The border punches add a nice border on the card. I used these two punches (2 of my faves)
Martha Stewart Vine Trim Double Edge Punch-Martha Stewart,Vine Trim, Double Edge Punch
#42-70018 Martha Stewart Vine Trim Double Edge Punch

Natures Garden Pearls and Crystals-Natures Garden Pearls and Crystals
I trimmed down the bling crystal to fit ... Natures Garden Pearls and Crystals (#554194)

Natures Garden Perle Bebe 12pk-Natures Garden Perle Bebe 12pk
I also lightly misted the flower from Natures Garden Perle Bebe 12pk(#555856) and added a couple of Ivory Green Tara Roses

Natures Garden Alphabet Stickers-Natures Garden Alphabet Stickers
The  Natures Garden Alphabet Stickers (#555368) are perfect for custom sentiments!

For all the materials pop over to the Sassy Scrapper website:  www.sassyscrapper.com.au

So that's my Easel Card!

Have a fabulous Thursday and stay safe!

Enjoying the Bobunny

Huge Hello Everyone!!

I'm back with more fun with the Lovely range from Bobunny Alora!

If you haven't seen this collections yet you are sure not to miss it,
It's bright and fun and all the sweet little birds and flowers!

I have come to the small bits of my Bobunny stash so i was on a mission to create!

I wanted a background that would be interesting and match my layout,

Out comes the White Cardstock,  Paint and one of the sweet Masks by Pink Paislee

 Pink Paislee She Art Vintage Doily Mask-Pink Paislee She Art Vintage Doily Mask  Kaisercraft Scarlet Paint-Kaisercraft Scarlet Paint

With a little dash of Mister Hueys by Studio Calio

Mister Hueys Calico White Opaque White-Mister Hueys Calico White Opaque White

All found in Sassy Scrapper Store :}

For my demo i will be using a different colour paint (as i needed an extra background :})

First you set up your area to paint,
then you Grab yourself a used voucher/credit card basically a hard bit of plastic ...i also found a
hard plastic spatula works just as well...hehe

Now to add a little paint to the end of your card/spatula and scrape the paint from one side of the card stock to the other.....

add as much paint as you like make sure you add a few corners of paint to give some interest...

Next make a cuppa and wait for the paint to dry....maybe pop the washing on the line??...

Once the paint is all dry...than a layer of Mister can begin...make sure the paint is all dry or you will end up with the Paint and the Mister mixing.....could be interesting effects though :}

I placed and mister a few different spots to make the background interesting, when you come to your mister part it is up to you as to how much you mist :}
now we wait for the misted parts to dry.....Another Cuppa???

As you see using a simple technique can be so effective, as well as helping you get your  housework done ...with all the little waiting breaks...lol

Now for even more fun!
the Scrappen part!!!

I used the papers from the Bobunny Range Alora!

Bo Bunny Alora Cut Outs-Bo Bunny Alora Cut Outs  Bo Bunny Alora Dimples-Bo Bunny Alora Dimples Bo Bunny Alora Giggles-Bo Bunny Alora Giggles  Bo Bunny Alora Wish-Bo Bunny Alora Wish

A little Bling.....                                             And a tag from Noteworthy.....
Bo Bunny Alora Noteworthy-Bo Bunny Alora Noteworthy  Bo Bunny Alora Jewels-Bo Bunny Alora Jewels

Then add your fave Alphas...I add some Thickers...... I LOVE AC Thickers!!

This is my layout creation.....

"Rockin Bub! Lets Jam!"

I have used one of my Eye Candy Magic Clay Creations - Love Bug....
Did you know that there will be a sale on this weekend??

Loads of colourful goodies! to Inspire your creativity :}

Photo: Some clay buttons for Eye Candy Sale http://instagr.am/p/Mu1dFKjbLE/  Photo: Lots of star buttons!! YAY!! Lol :) http://instagr.am/p/M-mfMZjbD9/

create some wonderful backgrounds.
