Kaisercraft 'Butterfly Kisses' Layout

Hi everyone! It's Sam Hauzer here, just popping in to share a layout I made using the GORGEOUS Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses collection...

I had so much fun using this gorgeous collection! The bright fun colours are just so ‘me’, and suit scrapping photos of my daughter Emily perfectly. I based this layout on a sketch, and had lots of fun creating a dimensional border around my patterned paper circle simply by folding strips of the purple paper and attaching them underneath. The Collectables finish this layout off perfectly, they are so easy to layer around the photos and add just that something special to the page.

Make sure you head over to the Sassy Scrappers shop HERE to grab some of this gorgeous range!!

STACKED WITH FUN & HAPPY HUES.

creating tags are one of my fave things to do in my world of ART .
here I used the beautiful MME buttons and papers from THE SWEETEST THING Collection.

Tags are great to add to a gift and also in place of a card ...
There is always plenty of room to write on the back

I covered the base of the tag in MME paper and white card which is stamped with versa color ink .
then I stacked layer upon layer of colorful hues . and finished off with a MME button .
a nice and easy project .

I have used lots of Dies from the Nestabilities and Die-namics range ...
These are such happy colors and full of fun and brightness.
I hope you are inspired to use your scraps up and create your own tag .
I'll be giving this tag to my Grand daughter Ella Jai, yellow and pink are her very fave colors .

till next time, stay safe and warm hugz , love Heather x

'DELIGHTFUL'
The background is covered with Gesso

I created two layers with circles and Die-namics Dies.
For a final touch I added the stickers, buttons and brads … SOOOOOOOOOOOO  EASY .
These papers are a dream to co-ordinate.

looking closely you will notice a small piece of muslin under the sticker
giving added texture and interest .

My Beautiful Girls ....

My last project using Romance Novel was quick and easy.

Like I mentioned before, the papers are really clever, most have a pattern on one side and on the other, a series of images ready to be cut out.

This little project was inspired by this gorgeous paper ...   Romance Novel Bookplate

 Larger Image

It has the perfect images for cutting out including a little pocket template.
I cut it out, folded it up and added a few tags with some cute images of the girls!

Each tag has a few scraps I had left over from my previous couple of pages.

This is such a cute and easy little project .... pop over and have a look ... you'll love this range!

Something a bit different

Hello there and welcome to the Sassy Scrappers blog. Hope your week is going well so far!

Today I would like to share with you a frame, some cards and some earrings I made with the left overs from my beautiful Prima Zephyr kit.

First up some cards:

Next I did up this frame I had lying about cause one day I bought it thinking it was a good idea and never got around to doing anything with it until now.

Really like how bright and colourful this turned out.

Last but not least I used the velvet baubles left over and turned them into some earrings, my girls just love them. All I added was another gold coloured bead and there you have it.

Thanks for popping by, of course all materials are available right here in the Sassy shop, so why not come and have a browse.

Till next time.

Hetty xx

PLAYING WITH MY MINDS EYE

Hi there, my name is HEATHER  JACOB.
Firstly I am so honoured, excited and happy to be invited to GUEST DESIGN here at Sassy Scrappers. Heartfelt Thanks to you Olga for the sensational big box bursting with delectable goodies .

Now a little about me, I am blissfully married to my wonderful, supportive “soul mate” Baden. My Family feature throughout my work and there is nothing more important to me than my family. Creating art is one of my many passions in life .. To me this craft is the perfect combination of art, photography, beautiful paper, and glorious words.
I especially love to choose some elements, cast a spell and see what happens, to create a dream and follow it through. Subtle shadows, light and color are all ingredients for casting the spell. I am in harmony with my garden and its inhabitants, connecting with the beauty that surrounds me. For me it is all-consuming, inspiring and a natural expression of my inner self, which I love to weave into my works.
I am inspired by colour and texture … I love to include stitching, chipboard, journaling, muslin, fabrics, metal elements, inking, masking and texture paste.
Off the page projects and altered art are a fave of mine. I see my style as “CLASSIC” with attention to detail…I tend to lean toward monochromatic themes with a little shabby chic/grunge thrown in..

A Perfect Day .....

Hello again,

I have another layout to share today using the beautiful line from Prima, Romance Novel.

When I started this page, I was completely inpsired by this beautiful paper
Romance Novel Time Travel-Romance Novel Time Travel

The floral image screams ... "cut me out" so I started from there and built the page around it.
The flowers with this range are perfect and colour matching is a breeze!

Head over to the shop and have a look at the full range!
