Love - Prima Rosarian - Joanne Bain

Hi Everyone!!!

Joanne here with you today for the last post of my Guest Design Team spot. As you would already know I have been working with Prima Rosarian.  The kit I received to create with was absolutely beautiful and I had exhausted most of it when I created my 2 layouts, so today I wanted to share a card that I created with the scraps that I had left.

Materials Used available from Sassy Scrappers.

#559014 - Rosarian Tiny Alpha Cardstock Stickers
#844523 - Rambler
#844530 - Constance
#844516 - Old Garden
#844561 - Felicity
#844578 - Chambori
#844585 - Alba
Kaisercraft Aqua Rhinestones
Kaisercraft Ice Blue Rhinestones
Black Cardstock

Other - Organza ribbon, Cheery Lynn butterfly dies & Spellbinders Doily Dies.

As with all of my projects this card has lots of layers. I created my own banners and paper shapes for my layers and topped it off with a big pink butterfly cut from a Cheery Lynn Die. I think any of my friends would love to receive this card and it has all been made totally from scraps.

I hope I have inspired you this month with my creations using the Prima Rosarian Collection and a big thank you to the Sassy Scrapper Team for allowing me to be a Guest Design Team member.

I am sure I will see you all around the scrapping community somewhere.
Thanks
Joanne

So Sweet by Sam Hauzer

Hi everyone, I'm back to share a sweet simple layout, using the fabulous My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing Tangerine...

Products Used - The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Happy Woodsy, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Happy Journal Card, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Wonderful Chipboard Elements, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Hello Buttons, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Wonderful Dandy.

When I get to the end of using all the products in a kit, I love to stretch out those supplies to squeeze out a last layout or two. This page is for my niece's scrapbook, so I like to leave some space for her to add her own journalling. The chipboard elements are absolutely perfect for adding just the right amount of dimension to the page, and I LOVE the little journalling die cuts that go with this range!  Here's a closer look at some of the products I've used...

If you love this gorgeous range as much as I do, make sure you head over to the Sassy Scrappers shop HERE to get your hands on some!

I'll be back soon to share some more layouts using the My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing Tangerine range. Have a great week!

Prima Rosarian - Guest DT Joanne Bain

Hi Everyone!!!

Today I have another page to share that I created using the gorgeous Prima Rosarian Collection. I just love the colours and with colours like these I just love to make them pop by creating with a black background.

Materials Used available from Sassy Scrappers.

#559014 - Rosarian Tiny Alpha Cardstock Stickers
#558949 - Rosarian Chipboard Stickers
#559229 - Rosarian Decorative Wood Embellishments
#844523 - Rambler
#844530 - Constance
#844547 Darby
#844516 - Old Garden
#844561 - Felicity
#844554 - Bocella
#844585 - Alba
#561413 - Interlude Flowers
Black Cardstock

Other - Organza ribbon, Cheery Lynn butterfly dies, Martha Stewart Border Punch & Spellbinders Doily Dies.

Once again my page is packed with dimension. The pattern on the backside of the DARBY patterned paper was fussy cut and layered and then to add a splash of colour I also fussy cut some of the flowers from the OLD GARDEN patterned paper to create my corner cluster.

Again I have created many banners, staggered and layered them to create my background. I cut a 10 cm strip away from the top of the RAMBLER patterned paper and then attached the rest to a piece of black cardstock so the background top was less busy.

Hope you have a wonderful week end.
Joanne

My Sunshine by Sam Hauzer

Happy Monday! I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. I've got a nice bright and happy layout to share today, using the gorgeous MME The Sweetest Thing - Tangerine!...

Products Used - The Sweetest Thing Tangerine The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Wonderful Delighful, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Sunshine Blossom, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Sunshine Title, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Hello Buttons, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Together Chevron, Prima Flowers #557300 Charlotte Melon 6pk, #561994 Aria Orange 2pk,#43041 AC Niki Riki Glitter Thickers Yellow

I love the "Sunshine Title" die cut! I used to sing that song to Em when she was a baby and it always used to make her go to sleep (probably trying to escape my terrible singing voice!). I used the gorgeous Thickers to reinforce the title around the die cut, and the glittery letters matched in perfectly with the beautiful glittery Prima Flowers.

Here are a couple of close ups...

And here's a closer look at some of the products I've used...

You can find the beautiful MME The Sweetest Thing range in the Sassy Shop HERE, but make sure you're quick or you might miss out!

Dream

Hi lovely bloggers, it is Hetty here sharing a new layout with you this week using the gorgeous Prima Marketing 'Zephyr' collection and some yummy Prima and Manor House flowers, I was lucky enough for Olga to send me this month. Love how this layout came together especially the colours.

I actually made a boo boo with this layout. I cut the centre out of my blue background paper as I knew I was going to cover it up with the white cardstock and I didn't want to waste the pretty paper. By the time I cut the white cardstock and attacked it with my deep edge border punch I realized I made it too small and there was a gap showing. That is when I decided to put a contrasting piece of paper underneath the cardstock and I quite like the effect that created. Just shows you there are no mistakes in scrapbooking only new opportunities to get more creative, lol.

The following photos are off some of the products I used to create this layout, all of which are available right here in the Sassy Scrappers Shop.

That is it for now, hope you enjoyed my post.

Happy scrapping!

Hugs

Hetty xx

MME The Sweetest Thing - Tangerine

Good morning! It's Sam Hauzer here with a layout using the very gorgeous MME The Sweetest Thing - Tangerine.  I absolutely fell in love with this range when I saw it, the colours are just so beautiful.

Products Used - The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Sunshine Beam, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Wonderful Dandy, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Sunshine Blossom, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Happy Layered Stickers, The Sweetest Thing Tangerine Wonderful Chipboard Elements, Prima Flowers #557300 Charlotte Melon 6pk

I really loved the background paper I used for this layout. The detail in the bottom right corner is printed on the page, and I just added 3 little chipboard stickers to it. I added a couple of paper doilies from my stash to place under my photo to compliment the printed doily on the page :)

Here's a little look at some of the products I used...

September Guest Designer - Joanne Bain

Saturday Greeting!!

Joanne here with you today & I am so happy to have been asked to be a Guest Designer here for the month of September.

Here is a little about me...

My name is Joanne but my friends call me Jo. I am a very proud mother of 2 (the best kids in the world I am slightly bias) and I am happily married to my best friend and have been for 19 years. He is the best husband a girl could ask for and is very supportive of my need to scrapbook. We live in sunny Queensland on the northern side of Brisbane along with our 2 dogs and more pet birds then I can count. I have been a scrapbooker for 12 years and yes I would say I am slightly addicted to this craft...lol. I have tried my hand at digital designing and scrapbooking but I much prefer the look, touch and feel of paper.

My preferred scrapping preference is 12 x 12 layouts and creating off the page, but I do enjoy altering items and making the odd card. I am not locked into a specific scrapping style, as I am happy to give anything a go. I would describe my style as structured full of detail and dimension, with lots of layers and fussy cut paper cutting if the papers have a pattern that allows me to do so.

My pages need to have dimension…lol no flat scrapbooking pages for me.

Presently I design for Kaisercraft and Manor House Creations.

My Blog - Scrappin For Me

This month I am showcasing the gorgeous new PRIMA ROSARIAN collection.

I just love this collection and I couldn't wait to get started. Full of lace, doilies and roses galore. This collection has a strong color palette of pinks, reds, teals, and black. Sure to make the girl in you giggle with delight.

Materials Used available from Sassy Scrappers.

#844530 - Constance
#844554 - Bocella
#844585 - Alba
#844547 - Darby
#844516 - Old Garden
#559151 - Rosarian Alpha Stickers
#558949 - Rosarian Chipboard Stickers
#559229 - Rosarian Decorative Wood Embellishments
#560683 - Rosarian Decorative Doors
#562137 - Belcanto Dark Pink Flowers
#562601 - Rosarian Timido Roses
FRA018 - Twiddleybitz Circle Doily
#F638 - Cranberry Kaisercraft Blooms

Other - organza ribbon, hatpins & Cheery Lynn butterfly dies.

My page is packed with dimension..I also had some fussy cutting fun with the  gorgeous Old Garden patterned paper. I painted a little gesso to the chipboard doily and created a lot of different banners to create my background.

I love to create layered clusters of embellishments to my pages to help create a focal point. I like to have the more you look the more you see feel to my pages.

This collection is just so bright and fresh. The black background just makes the colours pop.

Hope you have a wonderful week end.
Joanne

Arty Farty .....

Wow - how is it possible that it's Thursday again???

I seemed to have lost a week! :)

So I have dabbled in something a little different this week.
I have been really enjoying playing with masks and Sassy has a great range in the shop .

This unusual layout has been created using hessian as a background .

I used a mask from The Crafters Workshop , placed it over the top and sponged on some gesso.
When you do this, make sure you have some scrap paper under the hessian as the gesso will seep thru.

I used this gorgeous template.

While that was drying, I used the 6x6 starburst mask and placed it over the Pink Paislee Mistable borders and used Mister Hueys mist in Pinstripe to create a pattern.

When the ink was dry, I used the Mistable border to make a wind up flower.
Once everything was dry, using the sewing machine, I adhered it to some black cardstock.

I'm really happy with the result and love the look of something different in my album.

And finally, Happydaks has a Birthday party to go to this weekend so I whipped up a quick and easy card using more bits from Studio Calico and Hambly!
Again ... simple and effective works well!

Well I hope you are all creating up a storm and taking advantage of the amazing special in the Sassy Shop...

ALL ORDERS THIS MONTH WILL GO INTO THE DRAW
TO WIN SOME BEAUTIFUL PRIMA FLOWERS....www.sassyscrapper.com.au
