Summer 1978 - Crate Poolside

Hello Sassy Friends!

Woot, the weekend is here and I have a box of tasty Crate Poolside goodies to play with :)

I'm sure my DH won't be completely thrilled with me showing off his adorable toddler belly in this page... but it's so cute, how could I not scrap it!

There are a lot of new things in store that I am totally excited about, like the Ombré Hero Arts ink pads. Three complimentary shades of colour in one shot... I need to have them all!

I've used the 'Pool to Navy' pad here with some Prima and Kaisercraft splat stamps. The large chipboard sticker brought my title together and I couldn't resist the teeny flip flops -  too adorable!

The Poolside frames feature printed chipboard, as well as gold glitter acrylic finishes, like the sun shown here.

You may have seen these gorgeous Poolside mason jars on social media. Just add a spot of journalling or a bit of bling and you're good to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by - may your weekend be a crafty one!

and machine stitching my white cardstock

i created some mini tags with  Chickaniddy 365 Daydream Paper 12x12
and fussy cut a few flowers from  Chickaniddy 365 Smell The Roses Paper 12x12

Pink Paislee Atlas - Life Journey Mini - Leonie Neal-Dawson

Hello, Leonie here today and I'm sharing a cute little mini album
I put together using the Pink Paislee Atlas Collection.

This little album was quite easy to put together using the Instagram cards and frames as a base for
the album, I punched holes in the top left of the cards and used a hinge ring to hold it all together.

I always buy a pack of school photo's in various sizes every year
but find I rarely scrap or use any of the photo's and
they end up sitting in the draw.
So I chose a set of these photo's and used
one of each of the kids along with the group photo to include in my album today.

I then typed up lots of Life Journey quotes to add to the pages.

The instagram frames and acetate cards added a cute peekaboo
element to the album.

Once I had the pages of the album sorted I set about decorating it with
the Atlas collection ephemera and chipboard sticker packs, some of which also had
inspirational quotes to add to the Life Journey theme.

Thanks for stopping by the Sassy Blog today,
I hope you're feeling inspired.  Happy creative Wednesday to all our readers.

Cheers,
Leonie Neal-Dawson.

Thank You - Leeann Pearce

Hello to all you Sassy Scrapper fans, today is my last post, I've had such a wonderful time being a guest designer here, many thanks to you Olga Day the lady behind the scenes and also to her wonderful design team... it's been an awesome month!
So for my last page can you guess what products I used... ha!
A mixture of Amy Tangerine, Elle's Studio, Heidi Swapp, Websters, Prima and The Crafters Workshop.
Creating a block design is simply and quick. I love this type of design and love cutting and layering as much as I can to create plenty of texture.
I stamped my background using the crafters stencil (Microbial) and  prima bloom spray and used the spill technique as well.
Elle's studio tags are a huge favorite for me I love cutting them up and layering them.
Washi tape I just love and have a fish bowl full of them... they make awesome borders at times.
" these are good times"
