Saturday Greeting!!
Joanne here with you today & I am so happy to have been asked to be a Guest Designer here for the month of September.
Here is a little about me...
My name is Joanne but my friends call me Jo. I am a very proud mother of 2 (the best kids in the world I am slightly bias) and I am happily married to my best friend and have been for 19 years. He is the best husband a girl could ask for and is very supportive of my need to scrapbook. We live in sunny Queensland on the northern side of Brisbane along with our 2 dogs and more pet birds then I can count. I have been a scrapbooker for 12 years and yes I would say I am slightly addicted to this craft...lol. I have tried my hand at digital designing and scrapbooking but I much prefer the look, touch and feel of paper.
My preferred scrapping preference is 12 x 12 layouts and creating off the page, but I do enjoy altering items and making the odd card. I am not locked into a specific scrapping style, as I am happy to give anything a go. I would describe my style as structured full of detail and dimension, with lots of layers and fussy cut paper cutting if the papers have a pattern that allows me to do so.
My pages need to have dimension…lol no flat scrapbooking pages for me.
Presently I design for Kaisercraft and Manor House Creations.

My page is packed with dimension..I also had some fussy cutting fun with the gorgeous Old Garden patterned paper. I painted a little gesso to the chipboard doily and created a lot of different banners to create my background.
I love to create layered clusters of embellishments to my pages to help create a focal point. I like to have the more you look the more you see feel to my pages.
This collection is just so bright and fresh. The black background just makes the colours pop.
Hope you have a wonderful week end.
Joanne
