Fairest of Them All

Hello Sassy friends!
Friday has found us again - hooray!
My sweet girl was mesmorised by her first meeting with a face painter at a birthday party recently. I wanted to try and capture a bit of the magic she must've felt.
I'm sure you have seen (and used) little confetti pockets. I certainly have! I love a bit of sparkle and those guys can hold an array of lovely goodies...
But have you ever considered enclosing your layout?

It's no secret... I lurve my Cameo. Cutting paper is only the tip of the iceberg - I can't wait to explore all it has to offer! I've created this 'title' card using 'Brannboll' font in Silhouette Studio and a bit of Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic paper.
I've used a couple of the remaining 3x4sized cards I cut from a sheet of 'Hello A' and layered them up with a few Elle's Studio cutouts and a cute Greatest View flair.
And there you have it!
Something a little bit different (modelled by my handsome assistant, hehe)
  • I put my layout together as one unit,
  • adhered it to the inside of the photo sleeve,
  • sprinkled some 'fairy dust' (sequins, and Studio Calico tiny star wood veneer)
  • and then used my sewing machine to stitch it all closed.

We hope you have all enjoyed our fun with Photo Freedom this month. As you have seen, there is no end to the possibilities one little pack can bring! Plus having everything at your fingertips makes the process a whole lot easier.
And don't forget, you can now order your replacement blades and mats from the store as well!

Till next time!

Hows your Project journey going?

Good Morning how are you this Sunday? Rikki here with my continuing journey in Project Life. Today I thought I would show you how it works as a double page so you can see the planning I was talking about last week.

As I have said before I made the choice to do Project Life for an event, the Crab festive we attend every year and has become a tradition for my family, it goes over 2 days and 40,000 plus people travel down to our little foreshore to enjoy the great foods, arts & crafts, the fireworks and all the water sports. I always take 100's of photos and when I get home only print about half a dozen and the rest go onto a disk and that it. This is where I love Project Life I can share the whole event in the sleeves that come in the kit and by the end of it I have 10 new pages for my scrapbook and I have shown and told the whole story.

A simple washi boarder adds a which mat for your photos and ties in with your colour scheme.

I have added all my embellishments on the outside of the sleeve just make sure you use a strong adhesive.....

JOURNALING is most important !

Hello everyone, Heather with you again.
For my fourth and final GD layout in May
I decided to scrap a photo of a Journal I created last year .
it is CHOCK A BLOCK full of different size pages, corrugated cardboard, photos ,
pockets with photos and Journaling
I feel writing is such an important part of scrapping.
History is sometimes "LOST" without some form of documentation.

'JOURNAL'
I used the stunning Prima / Romantic Novel Collection  of papers
such a versatile range and perfect for journaling .
I have journaled on each tab/tag
 to treasure the memories .
even the title is created from the papers .
'Process'
My foundation - I began with white cardstock, stamping with
the Prima Trellis stamp, Kaiser bubble wrap stamp, and a Hero Arts text stamp .
Splatters of Black, Coffee Shop, and SugarPlum Fairy ink add interest
and some stitching down each side for a final touch .
Next I mounted my photo and began layering the tabs and tags , which I journalled on.
quite a simple layout with lots of precious memories .

thanks so much to Olga for having me this month of May
I had such fun playing with these yummo papers and embellies .

hope I have inspired you and thanks so much for popping by.
big hugz from Heather x
