Agnus | Project Life - Crate Paper 'Cool Kid'

Hi again, I have another project life share using a range of fun new items from the 'Cool Kid' collection from Crate Paper.

I have started documenting May, and as always began the month with a custom title card. I got out my fuse tool to create a small shaker pocket behind one of the chipboard frames from the collection and filled it with some shiny stars from the embellishment pack. I used a mix of alphabet stickers to introduce the month and dressed up the card with a few paper strips and small embellishments.

I mainly used journal strips for the spread, but some details worked better on a journal card, which was easy to create with just a few layers.

I always keep movie tickets and other ephemera, and a simple pocket with a few dimensional embellishments was the perfect way to add them to my page.

The next moves onto the second week of May, although I do plan to add an insert between the pages.

I like the impact of using titles directly on my photos and the alphabet stickers were great for filling in the white space in the pic.

I love the fun chipboard stickers in this collection and really like the way they helped to dress up my photos and cards. If you don't like the bulk of chipboard, then don't worry because there is also a great range of flatter accents in this collection.

I used the 6x6 paper pad to create my cards, but each paper is also available in 12x12" size.

Yep, more chipboard but how could I resist adding a 'Roar' to the lizard pic ;)
