It's Tarrah McLean back with you again today to share another bright and Summery layout using the gorgeous Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection!

I just loved the idea of this layout when I saw a fellow scrappy friend create a similar layout....so the inspiration for this layout definitely comes from her!

I found a cute summer cut file online and cut it out from white cardstock to start! I then backed the words with different coloured papers from the Summer Lights collection! 

I just adore that mermaid chipboard piece! It was perfect to add to this layout alongside the photo of myself at the beach recently!

The background spotted paper was the inspiration for this layout.....when I saw the spots, I thought, yes a few circle elements like the photo and some of the papers too! 

My photo was absolutely perfect for this layout! I love that my son wears a neon sign shirt plus has some cool sunnies on also! That chipboard piece that says 'Keep it Chillin' is just so him!! He is the most relaxed and easygoing kid you could ever meet! 

I love the addition of the chippie camera here too as my son was saying to me to take some photos of him one day when we rode our bikes down to the lake track!

The Ocean Is Calling | Pink Paislee Summer Lights | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you again today to share another bright and Summery layout using the gorgeous Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection!

I absolutely love the paper with all the frames on it so I decided to fussy cut some of them out and use just a few on my layout. I backed one of the frames with my photo and some of the other ones with ephemera, chipboard and cut apart cards!

A lot of the ephemera pieces and the chipboard pieces have a holographic shimmer look to them...its so gorgeous in real life and enhances the pieces beautifully!

I didn't use a lot of patterned paper on this layout...it has mostly cards, ephemera, stickers, chipboard stickers and clear stickers featured on it! In the below photo you can see where I have photographed some more the holograph look!

Summer Days | Pink Paislee Summer Lights | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

Tarrah back with you and today I am excited to share a new layout using a new collection I have to play with...the gorgeous summery Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection!

I chose one of the gorgeous papers for my background paper and then cut a large title cut file from white cardstock. I backed the cut file with another of the gorgeous papers and machine stitched around the outside...I then adhered it to the background using foam tape. 

I placed my photo over to the right hand side and placed lots of the phrase stickers and other embellishments around my photo. I also placed a couple of the phrase stickers in the centre of the cut file and over to the left edge as well.

I love how the clouds and rainbow ephemera and chipboard stickers sit in the top left corner of the cut file as though they are popping out!
