This is my take on the Moodboard.  I was immediately attracted to that sticking red and gold eye makeup.  So I used a damask stencil and gold paint to try and imitate the makeup.

Sassy February Mood Board

 Hello to all our Sassy Scrappers out there. 

Leonie posting today.  Lucky me, I get to share with you the gorgeous, gorgeous 

February mood board, Anita Bownds has created to inspire us all.  

You are seriously going to love this board! 

Why? 

Well, it has soft sweet flowers, glittery gold, shiny

sequins, love hearts, bold black and white prints and more!!! 

I'm sure this board is going to inspire some truly lovely

scrapbook pages so I hoping to see lots of entries linked up to our blog this month!

Did I not say it was gorgeous?!

And this is my take on the mood board.

I was inspired mostly by the soft pink and grey in the pictures of the straws and the cake along with the black and white couch and cushions.

September Mood Board Challenge..

Can you believe its the start of another month and the start of beautiful Spring weather...

It has me dreaming of Summer just like this gorgeous Moodboard created by the most lovely Leonie...

Hello to all our Sassy Readers.  Leonie here to show you my take on the September mood board

along with some close ups.  Can I just say I am so glad winter is behind us, Spring is here and that means Summer can't be too far away! Jumping ahead of myself a bit I know but 

I'm craving warmer weather.

That's part of the reason I came up with a Summery mood board and it also 

goes perfectly with the Pink Paislee - Solstice collection that I have been using from the Sassy Scrapper store.  

As you can see I was inspired by the navy blue and yellow/gold colours

from the images.  Along with that starfish and the 'keep it simple' quote.

I've been endeavouring to keep things simple on my scrappy pages lately.

I love doing lovely colourful mixed media backgrounds but just at the moment I'm enjoying some 

simple paper layering and on this page just some light stencilling with 

distress inks.  Keeping it simple is definitely working for me at the moment.

On with the detailed shots.

My main embellishment cluster using the ephemera pack and epoxy stickers.  

I used foam dots on some of them to add dimension to the layers. 

The gold epoxy stickers in the Solstice collection are just gorgeous!!

Shimmerz Inklingz, and Teresa Collins Designs - Technique Video

Hello and welcome to my Wednesday post.  Leonie here. 

 You may have seen the page below as my take on our fabulous August mood board.  

I used the Teresa Collins range - Something Wonderful in store HERE.

I really had some fun creating the background using Shimmerz 

Inklingz and Texturez (Available HERE).

  

So for this weeks' project 

I decided to scrap-lift my previous page and create a video tutorial to show our readers just how I 

went about creating the background on both pages.

You'll see some of the Teresa Collins Studio Gold collection on this page.

I just adore those 4x4 cards in the WeR - Albums Made Easy pack, you can see more of 

the designs in the video.

So here it is, I hope you enjoy watching and pick up a hint or two.
