October Afternoon Woodland Park Layout.....

Hi,

Rikki here and its the last share of the month for me. I have to say this range has pushed me to work with things I normally wouldn't and the experience of that has been amazing because I wouldn't have been able to create my next share..... and I am a little sad that I have no more October Afternoon Woodland Park paper left might have to go shopping at Sassy Scrapper's store....

As you can see this particular paper from Woodland Park had inspired me to get the sewing machine out and add some finer details....

The Woodland Park Miscellany embellishment pack came in hand, it was the perfect background and easy to do....

The  Prima Soubrette Blues flowers work and complement the Green Tara flowers.....

Ever wonder what to do with the wire in the back of flowers rather than cutting it off? Just wrap it around then end of a pen to make a little spring....

So I hope this inspires you and don't forget to go shopping at Sassy Scrapper's (before I go and buy more of this range, my DH thanks you in advance lol :P )

October Afternoon Woodland Park - Layout

Hi,

Rikki here today. Have you ever had one of those days where all you want to do is create but when you sit down you have no ideas and no motivation? well do I have the perfect Mojovator for you !!!

Have you seen this months Sassy Scrapper's sketch challenge? I will remind you all....

 This is my interpretation of the sketch and I have given it a little twist as it seems I do not follow instructions very well, you will see what I mean....

So as you can see I have flipped it and substitute the Hexagons for butterflies.....  Dont you just love this paper from October Afternoon Woodland Park?

I love the rich colours and dont forget to add a little mist behind your focal areas to add more interest and to make objects stand out.

The added bonus in October Afternoon Woodland Park  Miscellany embellishment pack is you get some Steam binding and if you want it more crinkled you just screw it up and stick it in your pocket for a while.....

Woodland Park Cat Tail Pond

Woodland Park Huckleberry Hill
Don't forget fussy cutting out objects like these Butterflies make great embellishments when you add a little bit of foam mount under them.

So why don't you come and play with the sketch, cant wait to see what you come up with......

October Afternoon Woodland Park - Layout

Hi,

Rikki here and love is in the air here, or maybe me its just me because Valentine's Day is tomorrow, but feeling the love I thought I would share with you a layout that is all about love.

If you are like me these layouts are rare to find in my scrapbooks because I just don't take photos of the two of us (this year I am changing that).

I love this range of pattern papers by October Afternoon, some of the Woodland Range really allows you to do some fussy cutting.....

So the products I used are apart of the October Afternoon Woodland range and it is fast becoming some of my favourite papers... and they really allow you to do some fussy cutting.....

I love the Woodland Park Chip' n Stick embellishments that this range comes with and can you see the Heidi Swapp Colour shine misted on the background?

So when you think there is just to many flowers why don't you cut them out and arrange them the way that you would like to.......

This range really does have bits of everything for any scrapper;

Woodland Park Bunny Tail Trail
Woodland Park Rose Garden

And don't forget your Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spritz, just the perfect little finishing element;

So make sure you check out this range yourself , in the store HERE at Sassy Scrapper's.

October Afternoon Wóodland Park - Layout

Hi,

Rikki here and its my first post for Sassy Scrapper, I am very excited to be joining this team and I hope to inspire you with my work. I was extremely excited to get my first design team kit and it got to the point where I may have been stalking the postie, waiting to see his van drive past, waiting to go out after I saw his van go past..... but we can talk about my " stalking" tendencies and other issues later.

I have been very lucky to receive October Afternoon's Woodland Park range to play with this month, and I have to say I am in love with it, I could talk about it for hours on end but really that's not why your here? you want to see what you can create with it.

I am a huge fan of fussy cutting and layering with a bit of foam mount, I love dimensions, this range really allows your to do that.....

October Afternoon Woodland Park comes with these neat little sticky Woodland Little Flyer's, you just pull the sticker off the backing and wrap it around your tooth pick and you have a flag. The embellishment pack even comes with the toothpicks......

As you can see I love my layers and the Woodland Park Crab Apple Orchard piece of pattern paper allows you to mix up the sizes of the flowers, and not to mention the co ordinating velvet ribbon from the Woodland Park Wrap pack...
