Finally Winter is here!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning all.... well it has been a wild, windy, rainy ride over here in the West. Ohhhhhhhh how its nice to have a winter day for a change, however not amused with Mother Nature's sense of humour with making it the coldest, windiest and wettest part of the day when picking up the kids from school. On the plus side the weather is perfect for some creating.
So a quick share with you as I type this post the lights flicker.... throughout the month I have been sharing with you the Kaisercraft On this Day range and I am loving its versatility... so far a romantic, whimsy and vintage layouts have been created, I am unsure how to classify this layout simple? elegant? timeless? I will let you all decide.
For me I wanted to use the romance of the paper without making it to floral as I know my darling other half will just nod and say "its ookkkkkkkkkkkkk" code for why so many flowers?
I love the Kaisercraft On this Day Collectables, as they have the cutest little frames that allow you to make an instant journal square and they are also cut out in the centre to make an instant frame....
And whats not to love about the On this Day Sticker Sheet....

Don't forget to enterour mood board challenge... you have 4 days to do it. Now don't forget for the challenge can be anything that inspires you off the board, the colours, the flowers, the whimsy/dreamy part of it. The girls from the design team cant wait to see how you interpret it, and the added bonus is you get to go into the running to win a voucher to spend in store and with all they yummy products there how can you resist?

Best, rough & tough friends!
I started out creating one page from 3 different papers.
(I liked the effect that the mixed prints and textures brought to the table.)
I also left a section of the star print Cameron paper open on the right hand side
so I could tuck bits and bobs inside.
Quite loving these leftover Crate alphas from last month's kit. They look great layered on top of eachother a bit and if you pop your adhesive on the printed part, it's hardly visible.
Cheeky ratbags indeed! I've used a few of these gorgeous Saltwater frames
and mounted my pics underneath.
Thanks for stopping by today! Your comments are so appreciated :)
Have a fabulous weekend!

Awesome! Elle's Studio
To head off the vertical strip of shapes, I've nipped off the top of a 'today' tag.
Don't fear losing half a word or phrase! Most often one can still make out what it says and it can add interest in the form of a type of pattern.
Freckled Fawn have lots of us swooning! I simply had to get my little paws on the new shapes in the store. I have backed this frame with a Saltwater tab
and used it to contain my journalling.
To avoid a cluttered feeling, I try to stick to 'like' objects. The circles echo the confetti pattern in the journalling tab and the little hearts are dotted around the layout. Using 1 star in muted tones adds further interest, but doesn't fight with the other shapes for attention.
Hope you've enjoyed my post today.
Wishing you a fabulous weekend!
