Leanne | 3"x6" Mini Album

Hi there Sassy Friends! Here in Queensland we are recuperating with well deserved school holidays! It's been a long few weeks, especially with school activities both physical and scholastic. These holidays however, I wanted to break away from the serious and create a fun little project for the kids to give to their dad. And what better collection to use than the wonderful new Fancy Pants collection now in store - Good Fellow!  
My project is a 3"x6" mini album created using the  Good Fellow 6x6 paper pad, Ephemera die cuts and the Good Fellow | So Strong patterned paper.

step 1. Cover:

Using the 6"x6" paper pad, select the chevron "Treasure" paper and trim the blackboard 3x4 Project Life card from So Strong.

Trim the 3x4 card to fit inside the 3x6 paper strip as shown below.

step 2. Cover:

Trim a 3"x1" paper strip and cut a notch from one end. Adhere to the front cover as shown below.

step 3. Cover:

Adhere the die-cut ephemera "best dad" & mount the "favorite" die-cut onto foam tape.

step 4. Cover:

Create a reinforced circle and attach to the front cover. This is where the jump ring hold the rest of the pages to your mini album.

Complete the cover by adding another die-cut piece of ephemera to highlight the title.

Step 1. Pages:

Trim several 3x6 pieces of patterned paper from the mini paper pad.

step 2. Pages:

Create white space on the inner pages of your album with the less busy patterned paper. My plan is to encourage the kids to share their special memories with and about their dad, in their own hand writing.

step 3. Pages:

Punch a hole in the top of each 3x6 page and add to the jump ring from the front cover.

You can add as many pages as you like! I also plan to include 3x6 portrait style photos in black and white of each child, between the pages and their corresponding messages. Don't forget to check out the rest of the Good Fellows collection in the Sassy store today.
