This layout came together by chance! Don't you just love it when that happens?! I had a few scraps of paper laying around from creating other layouts so I decided to see how they would look forming a Christmas tree!

I love how it turned out!  

I used ephemera pieces for some of the shorter pieces and machine stitched through each of them to add definition.

I kept the embellishing simple by just adding a few of the stickers as I wanted to keep the focus on the tree design....

Merry Christmas Sassy Scrappers!

I started my layout today by cutting a Christmas Tree cut file using some of the scrap paper left over from last week's cut file! I then layered the pretty tree ephemera over the top to add some more colour. I just love those 'Joy, Peace and Love' chippie pieces, they went perfectly across the middle of the tree!

The embellishments in this collection make it so simple to create pretty pages! Both the flair buttons I have used on this layout are from my stash...

I absolutely LOVE this collection! I have been able to create so many projects with it! It has suited my photos perfectly! Why not go and get it from the Sassy store so you too can create cute projects like I have!

I have used lots of the chipboard stickers on this layout to go with the awesome cut file I used. The cut file is from Just Nick Studio. I like how I could fill in some of the wholes using embellishments!  

I was so glad that the pink house chipboard sticker could be used on this layout! It goes with the pink and green my niece is wearing in my photo perfectly! 

I was going to add some machine stitching to this layout, but in the end I decided it had enough going on so I left it off!

Fa La La | Crate Paper | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you today to share another festive layout using the gorgeous Crate Paper Fa La La collection!

As soon as I saw that Fa La La patterned paper, I knew I wanted to cut it up into strips and separate them slightly....I added machine stitching through each trip to add some definition and detail. 

That gorgeous, gold, glitter die cut title makes a perfect title for this layout, I love how the font is different from the Fa La La in the paper...this helps it to stand out and pop off the page! 

The bauble die-cut is a nice touch underneath my photo, with the Fa La La theme still going on and the added bit of gold on the top! I used 2 of the flair buttons from the Fancy Pants Wish collection pack...

25 | Crate Paper | Fa La La | Tarrah McLean

Hi there Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I would like to share a new scrapbook layout created using the gorgeous, festive Crate Paper Fa La La La La collection!

I started this layout by having just the top paper as my background, but once I had finished the page I felt it needed something else so I decided to trim down that paper and I added the green paper as my background. I like how it adds a bit more colour to the page!  

Because my son is holding the star for the top of the tree in this photo, I knew I had to add that gorgeous gold glitter star to the top of the photo. I also picked the star background paper as it matched so well with the photo!

I absolutely LOVE that '25' ephemera piece, this piece makes the perfect title for this layout too! That cute bird is from the 12 x 12 chipboard sheet, I added lots of ephemera pieces to embellish this layout!
