Hello Precious | Bella Blvd Island Escape | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a new layout created using the gorgeous Island Escape collection by Bella Blvd! 

For this layout, I actually started out with the super cute borders paper from the Bella Blvd Molly collection as I received that paper in my kit along with the Island Escape collection this time too! I decided on a banner/pennant layout and took my large banner punch and punched out a few of them to place horizontally across the page!

I just had to fussy cut one of the adorable foxes also from the borders paper and added it beside my beautiful photo. The photo is of my 2 gorgeous nieces with my Mum (their Grandma that they call Marnee) when my Mum was visiting them recently. Oh how they love their Marnee!

I love that strip that says 'Beauty Might Bring Happiness But Happiness Always Brings Beauty' from the Borders paper from the Molly collection and wanted to include that above the banners along with the blue and white distressed strip from the Island Escape Borders paper also.

The Elle's Studio wood veneer from the Cienna collection were perfect to add to the layout as they say things like Precious and I Love You...all things that go with this gorgeous photo!

25 | Crate Paper | Fa La La | Tarrah McLean

Hi there Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I would like to share a new scrapbook layout created using the gorgeous, festive Crate Paper Fa La La La La collection!

I started this layout by having just the top paper as my background, but once I had finished the page I felt it needed something else so I decided to trim down that paper and I added the green paper as my background. I like how it adds a bit more colour to the page!  

Because my son is holding the star for the top of the tree in this photo, I knew I had to add that gorgeous gold glitter star to the top of the photo. I also picked the star background paper as it matched so well with the photo!

I absolutely LOVE that '25' ephemera piece, this piece makes the perfect title for this layout too! That cute bird is from the 12 x 12 chipboard sheet, I added lots of ephemera pieces to embellish this layout!

Summer Vibes with Kylie Kingham

Hi everyone!

Kylie back with you today to share a layout using the new 'Summer Days' collection by Simple Stories.This beautiful new range is now in store here.

Here is a little look at my completed layout-

I opted to use a white background again to really make the vibrant colours in these papers pop.I think the gingham print is my absolute favourite.

The ephemera is super cute for Summer themed projects.I created a heap of paper blossom just using circle punches and cutting into the centre for petals.I have centred them with pearls.By using foam tape on some helps build dimension.

Using some of my favourite Kaisercraft dies from my stash I balanced the flowers with some white leaves.The pinwheel was added for an element of fun, and it screams Summer too.

Happy Travels | Shimelle | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a new layout with you using some Shimelle products now available in the Sassy store!
I have recently been on an amazing 4 week holiday to Europe and the UK and so I have oodles of travel photos to scrapbook! 

So I decided on some awesome travel themed products from the Sassy store to create a few projects and share them with you! I have mostly used a couple of different products from some of the Shimelle collections!

The Crate Paper Journey cork embellishments add some great texture to this layout!

All Boy | Bella Blvd Alex Collection | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing my 7th and final layout created using the Bella Blvd Alex collection!

The background paper I have used is quite busy so I decided to cover it over with some white cardstock but before I did, I used my Cuttlebug to cut out 3 circles. I made sure to cut them out from the very centre of the paper so that I could use the entire paper as a background without anyone knowing its been hacked into!   

I cut more circles from the other papers as well to balance it all out. I used the alphabet stickers from the 12 x 12 sticker sheet to create my title, I decided to place the title following the shape of one of the circles.

I took the Cool Kid wood veneer and backed it with some patterned paper so it didn't get lost on the white cardstock.

A couple more stickers were added as well as some puffy star stickers and a few small wood veneer to further embellish my page!
