Sassy Scrapper November Moodboard Reveal

Hello Sassy Scrappers! Leonie here today and boy do we have some lovely Christmas creations to share with our readers this month.  

I'm here today to reveal our November Moodboard Challenge.

There are lots of gorgeous Christmas collections in the Sassy Scrapper store and each of the Design Team members will be creating with a different Christmas range throughout November.  I'll be creating with the super cute PinkFresh Studio line called Christmas Wishes.

Our Design Team Member Anita Bownds has provided us with this beautiful moodboard to kick off our November Challenge.  There are so many gorgeous images here to inspire you to create a Christmas project and link it here on the Sassy blog to win.

Leanne has created this gorgeous Project Life Card.

Chantalle has created some lovely Christmas tree baubles.

Anita has made these very lovely and elegant Chritmas tags.

and lastly our Guest Designer for the Month Kat Gray has created this amazing layout using Simple Stories ..

This is the page I created.  Apart from the obvious Red and White I was inspired by the gift wrapped boxes and that cute little dear wrapped onto the parcel on the lower left of the moodboard.  I decided to wrap my whole page with some seam binding and make a 'gift' of the whole page.

I really like the quality of the paper from PinkFresh Studio, it's a nice heavy weight and I used this  statement piece (Winter Joy) as the base for my page and outlined the words 'Tis The Season' to use as my title for the page.

The Christmas Wishes range from PinkFresh Studios has some really cute little animal characters and I've added one of them to this page from the die cut ephemera pack.  Isn't that little penguin just too sweet?!

The puffy stars come from the sticker pack and I added some enamel dots and sequins from my stash 

to scatter over the page. 

The paper leaf and bunch of berries I've used here are part of the Royal Menagerie line from Prima Marketing and you can find them HERE in the Sassy Store

Project Life | Mood Board Tutorial..

Hello Project Life Friends! It's Leanne here today and I am sharing three fun PL filler cards created with the Sassy Scrapper May mood board in mind!    

 

Let's get started!

 

The first card is a 4x6 pocket filler card. It is created from the gorgeous Craft Market Stitching Paper, stickers and a few pieces of Poolside ephemera.

 

 

step 1. Trim the Crate Paper Craft Market paper to 4"x6".

step 2. Trim the arrow border from the Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine Lana paper and shorten the length to 6".

step 3. Adhere the arrow border strip to the lower edge of the 4x6 paper.

step 4. Using the gold glitter letters "S, U, N" from the Poolside ephemera pack, position above the arrow border to the left of the card.

step 5. Complete the word "Sunday" using the Twilight Poolside thickers.

step 6. Embellish the card with a banner sticker, speech bubble "hello" sticker and the pink & gold glitter ice-cream from the Poolside ephemera pack.

The second  and third cards have been inspired by the white to navy ombre cake on the Moodboard. These 3x4 filler cards are even easier to make than the 4x6 card!

 

step 1. Trim the Pink Paislee Atlas Latitude paper to 3x4.  Trim the patterned paper on the diagonal starting at bottom left corner to top right.

step 2. Trim the "explore" 3x4 cut apart from the Pink Paislee Take Flight patterned paper. This card will form the base for your filler card.

 

 

step 3. Adhere the navy triangle of paper to the base card.

step 4. Trim the gold foil border strip from the Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy Specialty paper to 3". Adhere to the lower edge of the filler card, covering the word "explore".

step 5. Using a tag shaped sticker, adhere to the right side of the filler card.

step 6. Finish by embellishing the card with a flower die cut from the ephemera pack, Simple Stories enamel dots and adding the weekly title with the Twilight thickers.

step 1. Using the Pink Paislee Atlas Latitude paper as the 3x4 base, adhere the reverse side of the triangular off cut from the previous card, to the right.

step 2. Trim sentiment strips in blue/navy from the Poolside Admit One paper and the Rise & Shine arrow border strip.

step 3. Add the paper strips to the filler card, trimming edges where necessary.

step 4. Also add the navy "pool lockers" die cut from the ephemera pack at the bottom.

step 5. Complete the card with a few pink enamel dots.

More Mood board Inspiration from Leonie

Hello Sassy Scrappers,  Leonie here today with some more inspiration from the July Mood board.

I'm really enjoying creating with these colours and textures.

Today I'm sharing my second take on this board,

you can see my first page and the other Design Teams samples HERE.

Below is the page I created using the Amy Tangerine Plus One range.

I found this range to be a perfect fit for the mood board, it had plenty of black and white patterns

along with the mint colour.  

All I need to do was add some gold embellishments, a Prima Flower, gold sequins and that's 

gold leaf on the background.

Some of the embellishments I used included this cute little 

gold flag clip from the Studio Calico Essentials range.

The Sassy Shop has a large range of Studio Calico essentials which includes

chipboard hearts, cameras and stars.

The perfect little embellishments to add to your page.

So I hope we have you well and truly inspired to play along with our July mood board.

Good Times Teresa Collins Daily Stories

Hi!   This month we have a funky, bright mood board challenge happening. Lovely rainbow colours to choose from. I have focused on the pink, orange & green combo with a touch of black but really you could take any colours you like from the challenge!
