Paradise | Bella Blvd Island Escape | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing my last layout using the beautiful Island Escape collection from Bella Blvd! I have lost count how many pages I created with this gorgeous collection but I know it was a lot!!

I started off choosing a gorgeous cut file that suits this collection perfectly!! I cut the Paradise word from white cardstock and then backed the letters with some of the different patterned papers! I backed the letter 'D' with my photo! The photo was taken when I travelled to Croatia a few years ago. We visited the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park and it is AMAZING!!!

Once I had the cut file backed with the papers and photo I popped it up from the background paper with foam tape. I added some embellishments mostly tucking them in around the cut file. I did layer some over the top of the cut file also including that paper strip through the middle of the cut file. 

I love how a large title cut file like this one can determine the design for you! It takes lots of guess work out of scrapping sometimes!!

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you to share a new layout created using the gorgeous Bella Blvd Island Escape collection in the Sassy store now!

I absolutely love this photo of my niece on a flamingo floatie from last year! It is a perfect photo to use for this collection! I started out by finding a flamingo cut file and cut it out from the pink paper from the Island Escape collection!

I also cut a title to suit from the purply/blue waves paper. Once I had placed the cut files where I wanted them, I placed my photo and tucked one of the floral ephemera pieces under the right hand side of my photo! 

Embellishing was easy after I had my title and photos down. I added a couple of wood veneer that I got in the Sassy store plus I also added 2 flairs, some enamel dots and phrase stickers from my stash too!

Sea | Bella Blvd Island Escape | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I have a new layout to share using the gorgeous Bella Blvd Island Escape collection!

I have had this picture of my boys from this past Summer printed for a while now! This photo was the inspiration for this layout! I knew I wanted to include some boating/nautical elements on this page today!

I started off by finding a ship's wheel cut file and cut it out from the dark blue paper in the Island Escape collection. I used foam tape to pop it up off the page. I also cut some strips from the 'Borders' paper in the Island Escape collection to add to the left side of the layout! I like the pop of pink and the addition the floral also brings.

That sticker that says 'Summer Buds' was perfect for this page too! Since they are brothers and good friends it goes so well! I added some ephemera and some of the chipboard stickers to embellish and I also added a wooden ships wheel from my stash to finish my page! 

I really liked that Sea title on the chipboard sticker sheet so that became my page title, I added another part of a border strip below this also!

Hello Summer Break | Bella Blvd Island Escape | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing a new layout using the gorgeous, tropical Island Escape collection by Bella Blvd!

When I saw that bright yellow paper I just knew that I wanted to back a citrus design cut file! Lucky I ordered 2 of that paper so that I could use both sides as the other side has the cut aparts on it!

This cute photo of my nephew on holidays in Spain was the perfect photo for this page since he is drinking a fruity drink after just getting out of the pool!

I layered some of the stickers from the sticker sheet over the top of the ephemera pieces and also added a couple of the wood veneer pieces too!

The 'fruity drink' and the 'juicy' stickers had to be added over the top of the chipboard pineapple over on the right side of the page.

Surf's Up | Bella Blvd Island Escape | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers,
It's Tarrah McLean back with you again to share a new layout created using the Bella Blvd Island Escape collection!

I started this layout by choosing a cut file title and cut it out from the 'B' side of the 'Tropical Bliss paper'. The 'Surf's Up' title was the perfect one to cut using the waves and I love how it turned out!

I popped the title up with some foam tape and slid my photo underneath the bottom right corner so it would overlap onto the photo. I matted my photo with one of the cut apart cards from the 'Daily Details' paper in the collection! 

I just had to add those cute chippie wave pieces from the chipboard accents, I added 2 at the bottom of the title and 1 at the top. I also added some of the wood veneer pieces for a different texture. Some of the small stickers were added around the page to embellish it too. I added one of the long borders from the 'Borders' paper at the top of my page plus also added the scallop sticker from the sticker sheet.
