Circle Punch Tutorial with Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose

Hi There!

Today I have a little tutorial on how to use a Martha Stewart corner punch around a circle

I have used it to form the background on this page

This is using Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose. This page is a totally different look & colour palette to my page from last week using the softer tones in the collection

Some Prima flowers & collectables

A mix of Green Tara & Kaisercraft flowers with Kaisercraft wooden flourish

How to use a corner punch around a circle

1. Cut a circle to any size desired
2. Take any corner punch. I have used Martha Stewart Vintage Doily
3. Place the corner punch on the circle. Make sure the tip of the punch is lined up to the edge of the circle. Punch.

4. Now line the corner punch next to the first punch mark still making sure the tip lines up to the edge of the circle. Punch

5. Repeat this process around the entire circle. Sometimes a small triangle piece remains after you have punched.
6. Carefully trim this off
7. Once you have finished punching around the circle yo may have a small piece left over. This all depends on the size of the circle as to how much you have left over if any.

8. Again carefully trim the extra piece off.
You can barely see the extra piece that has been trimmed off but if it really bothers you then keep this in mind when you are sticking it down on your page & you can always embellish over the top of it!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial & can put it to use!
