Hello again :) I have more pages to share from my project life album using the fun 'Say Cheese III' collection along with some lovely gold foiled items from the store.
I have created a couple of fun 6x8" inserts this week to document our annual trip to the forest to collect mushrooms as part of our May memories. My earlier pages have already showed you that these products are great for more than Disney themed pages alone and how well the colours and elements work with everyday photos too.
I often use inserts to record special outings to help distinguish these occasions from the rest of my full sized pages, and because I liked the way the 6x8" insert worked in my previous post I decided to try two of them to give me plenty of room for our photos.
I repeated the same format that I used for my earlier May pages and again utilized the acetate words and chipboard frames to create a consistent flow between the inserts and the full sized pages.
I decided to stack the inserts vertically in my album and really like the way that each flip reveals more photos.
While I normally like to print the 3x4" photos at full size, forest lighting is never good and as a result I was left with a lot of different colour casts when I printed off the photos. To combat this problem I trimmed down the photos and mounted each one onto patterned paper which helps distract the eye from the various tints because of the background colours of the paper.
