May Moodboard page - Leonie

Hey folks, hope today finds you all well and perhaps managing to squeeze some scrapping time into your schedule somewhere?!  

Perhaps you could play along with us and our May Moodboard created by Anita Bownds, it is just so pretty and sweet. 

 I loved creating with this board.

Here's the page I made and I used the Amy Tangerine - Rise and Shine Collection

available in the Store HERE

The Rise and Shine collection has lots of bright yellow and pink patterned papes 

which suited the board perfectly.  All I need to do was add some of the brighter blues from the board, which I did by creating a background using mostly the 

Cobalt Blue Color Bloom Spray by Prima.

I also added some yellow to the background with various stencils.

I used some cool transparent stickers for contrast from the I Am - Simple Stories collection.

See the phrase sticker here and the black hearts on the background.

The title letters are from the Simple Stories - Snap - Life Documented range. 

These are one of my favourite alphas to use at the moment, there are 8 different colours in the pack!

Simple Stories - Hugs and Kisses

Hello and Happy Wednesday Day Sassy fans.

Leonie back today sharing a fun page using the Simple Stories - Hugs and Kisses range.

I really liked working with the colours in this range, the pink and red combined with aqua

look great together.

It just so happens that my old faithful Creative memories Heart punch is exactly the same size as

the hearts on the Heartthrob paper so I was able to include lots of different patterns 

from the range using only the one piece of paper. 

I did intend on scattering the hearts around but they sort of made their way into a heart shape when I was shuffling them around the page and I thought they looked kinda' sweet so I left them as is and used the sewing machine to adhere them to the page.  The black cotton made for some nice contrast too. 

The background was coloured using Prima Color Bloom sprays on 

Double Thick Bazzill.  

The Bazzill Double Thick carkstock is a great surface to work on if you like using wet mediums on your pages.

Prima - Cigar Box Secrets

Hello Sassy Scrappers, Leonie

here today with a page to share using the Cigar Box Secrets range from

Prima.

I used Prima Art Basics 3D Matt Gel and coloured it with Color Bloom sprays

before using it to spread through two different stencils to create the background patterns.

I also did some random stamping and added splatters with color bloom sprays.

Prima Color Bloom Sprays and Highline Collection from Basic Grey

Hello Sassy Scrappers!

Leonie here today sharing another page with the Basic Grey Highline 

Collection along with the new and much anticipated 

Prima Color Bloom Sprays.

I was so happy to get to play with the Prima Color Bloom sprays.

I kept it fairly simple and used a Prima Stencil the first time I used the sprays.

Overall I was really really happy with them!

 Especially with how easy they were to use.

Yes I've struggled with some sprays when the nozzle gets stuck half way.  

I'm sure we all have! 

Not with these, once primed they worked perfectly with every squeeze of the trigger.

I did have a little practise with the splatter spray but think this may need more practise

to perfect.
