Home Sweet Home | Elle's Studio Family Fun | Tarrah McLean

It's Tarrah McLean back with you today to share a new layout I have created using the beautiful Elle's Studio 'Family Fun' collection!

To begin this layout, I pulled out all the grey and blue elements including papers, ephemera, puffy stickers, acrylic shapes and journal cards. I arranged my photo and the journal cards into a design I was happy with.

Before I adhered them all down, I added some machine stitching to create some added interest and texture. I like how the stitching creates a border around each too. The banner I made in the top right, I also machine stitched through and curled up the bottom of the banners for some dimension.

Once my photo and journal cards were adhered, I then embellished my layout using the puffy stickers, wood veneer pieces, acrylic shapes and ephemera. The Home Sweet Home title I used foam adhesive underneath to raise it off the page.

I love that the journal card on the right, left me an area to add some of the things we are currently loving!

If you don't have the Elle's Studio Family Fun collection, I urge you to grab it from the Sassy store now! Its so fun to create with! I am loving it!

Thanks for stopping by the Sassy blog today!

Happy creating!

Tarrah - Christmas Cheer Layout | Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses | The Cut Shoppe

Hi everyone!
It's Tarrah McLean joining you again and today I am sharing another layout with you as part of my guest designer spot here at Sassy Scrappers for November!

I played with the very cute and versatile Mistletoe Kisses collection by Simple Stories again, this time creating a grid design, making use of some of the 3x4 and the 4x6 pieces of patterned paper included in the collection!

The Sassy designers are very lucky to be working with some of Ashley Horton's amazing Christmas cut files in her shop called The Cut Shoppe! Make sure you check out Ashley's store, there are some amazing designs to buy and cut using a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut machine! They really help to enhance any layout!

Here is a close up of the title for my layout...I used one of the horizontal 4 x 6 cards that had the word Cheer printed on and I cut the Christmas word from one of Ashley's cut files in The Cut Shoppe using the green spotty paper!

Products that I used in the Sassy store:
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses 4 x 6 Horizontal Journal Foil Paper
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses 3 x 4 Journal Foil Paper
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Ho Ho Ho Paper
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Oh What Fun Paper
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Christmas Magic Paper
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Stickers 4 x 6
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Decorative Clips
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Chipboard Stickers
Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses Bits and Pieces Die-cuts

Cut files used from The Cut Shoppe:

Thank you so much for joining me once again on the Sassy Scrappers blog!
Happy creating!
