Hi Sassy Scrappers!
Tarrah McLean joining you today to share my last layout created with the Simple Stories Love and Adore collection! I ended up creating 6 layouts using this collection and I still have a few bits and pieces left as well! Talk about getting the most out of your supplies!

For this layout, I decided to fussy cut out the geo heart that is on the reverse side of the black and white stripe paper. I put that piece to the side to use another time and I then hand stitched around the entire perimeter of the heart using a dark pink thread. I then backed the hole using one of the other papers! 

As the paper behind the open heart is on a slight diagonal, I decided to use this as part of my design by adding my photo and embellishments in the same diagonal direction. I used a few of the Love and Adore journaling cards to act as layers under my photo and added a few of the chipboard stickers, ephemera and accessory stickers to complete my layout!

My niece was over visiting from England at Christmas time and we loved having her. As you can see she LOVED my littlest son as well! She is trying to give him a kiss here! So precious!

So Happy Together | Simple Stories Love and Adore | Tarrah McLean

Hi there Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you today! Happy Friday!
I have a new layout to share with you using the gorgeous Love and Adore collection by Simple Stories!

The Love and Adore collection is so perfect for photos of weddings, engagements, your loved ones, Valentine's Day etc...it is so versatile! This is my 4th layout using this collection and I still have another 1 or 2 more layouts to share with you using this same collection also!  

I decided on a photo of my brother and his wife from their beautiful wedding day this week, previously the photos I have used with this collection were my sister and her husband's wedding day, my 2 sons and my Mum with 3 of her 5 grandchildren!

I love how this collection has flowers as well as hearts for embellishments...so well suited to this photo!

LOVE | Simple Stories Love and Adore | Tarrah McLean

Hi there Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah back with you today to share a new scrapbook layout using the gorgeous Simple Stories Love and Adore collection!

I was inspired this week to use lots of different size circles on my layout...I even die cut my photo into a circle shape too! I added machine stitching to each individual circle for extra texture. 

This layout design is a great one to do if you only have scraps left! You can simply punch circles from patterned paper and you have an instant design! I also decided to fussy cut that LOVE title from one of the journal cards and I also machine stitched through it to create texture!

I just LOVE that geometric chipboard heart! I wanted it to take centre stage on this layout so incorporating it into the title was the perfect solution! Lots of other ephemera hearts were also added from the ephemera pack to help balance my page.

Hi Sassy fans!
It's Tarrah McLean joining you for the very first time as a new designer for Sassy Scrappers! I am so excited to be creating for Sassy Scrappers and hope I can bring you some inspiration!
This month, I have been working with the beautiful Simple Stories Love and Adore collection and have created a layout using some cut files together with this pretty collection! I started this layout by cutting an XOXO cut file background on white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I then cut the exact same background using the 'Melt My Heart' paper but I replaced the negative pieces (the letters) with the pink ombre letters and discarded the white letters. I then adhered this all down onto another sheet of white cardstock and fussy cut around the entire perimeter. I added some foam tape to the underside of the cut file and adhered it down onto the 'So Happy Together' paper. 

I also added a few of the single XO pieces from the ephemera pack and embellished the layout using the chipboard stickers, accessory stickers and the ephemera pack.To finish off I used some gold Heidi shine to add some interest and shine!
