Deck The Halls | Pink Paislee Yuletide | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean and today I am back to share my last Christmas layout with you!
I have been working with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Yuletide collection and I promise this is the last Christmas layout I am sharing for a while!

I had a good look at the very little leftovers I had left of the Yuletide collection and decided on this design so that I could use of lots of the scrap patterned papers on one page! I punched out 1 and a 1/4 inch size squares using a punch and then began to adhere them in a grid/rectangle design.

Once I had all the punched out squares adhered, I then poked some holes around the perimeter of the rectangle to add some more detail and texture with hand stitching. I used 4 strands of white embroidery floss for the hand stitching.

I used foam dots underneath the Deck the Halls puffy sticker title to add some dimension. I also added foam dots under the 'Oh Christmas Tree' and the '25' sticker from my stash. I added a few stickers from my stash and also that felt Christmas tree.

Holly Jolly | Pink Paislee Yuletide | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean and today I am back to share another Christmas layout with you!
I am working with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Yuletide collection and I have 1 more layout to share with you next week using it!

As I am getting to the end of my kit, I found that I had some papers left but not so many embellishments. So this week I decided to use up a fair bit of paper in my design and kept the embellishing minimal. I created most this layout with most of the elements on the bottom of the page but tied it all together by creating a small cluster at the top of the page also.

The large gold star and flair button are from my stash, I like how they add some decoration on the right side of the photo. The phrase stickers, scallop border sticker and jewels are also from my stash and these are scattered around to add interest to the page. I added foam adhesive underneath my photo and also under the title so that it was the same height as my photo.

Under my photo, I tucked in one of the die-cut tags and one of the acetate banner tags from the ephemera pack. I like how they draw attention to my photo. I added some twine to the top of the tag and the bottom of the tag was the perfect spot to stamp my date stamp.

Let It Snow | Pink Paislee Yuletide | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean and today I am back to share another Christmas layout with you!
I am working with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Yuletide collection so keep an eye out for some festive inspiration using this collection!

The Kraft and snowflake paper from the Yuletide collection is super pretty, I knew I had to create a winter themed page as soon as I saw this paper! I cut a snowflake cut file out from plain white cardstock so that I could overlay it on top of the snowflake paper.

There are also lots of snowflake embellishments in the Yuletide collection so I made use of these on this page too! I added some of the acetate snowflakes around the outside of the cut file as well as layering some of them on top of the photo and on the that cute tag that I placed beside my photo.

I added a few things from my stash like the Brrrr letters, the silver, glittery star, the large chipboard snowflake and some of the phrase stickers. I added one of the cute metal clips to the top right of my photo as well as adding one of the acetate frames under the same corner.
I added some twine through the top of the tag and finished off the page with some white mist to replicate snow!

Peace Love Joy | Pink Paislee Yuletide | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean and today I am back to share another Christmas layout with you!
I am working with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Yuletide collection so keep an eye out for some festive inspiration using this collection for the next couple of weeks!

I just love how big titles look on scrapbook layouts! This 'Peace Love Joy' looks so pretty cut out from the red paper! Once the cut file was cut out, I used foam dots so that it would sit up off my page. Once that was stuck down, it was really easy to arrange everything else on my layout.

I knew that I wanted to have the photo inside the 'O' of the 'Joy' word. I also backed the open circles in the Christmas tree in the 'Peace' word with some left over green paper. I chose a non busy paper for the background and this one with the spots on it was perfect to use.

I added one of the gorgeous metal tree clips to the top of the 'Joy' word. I also added some die-cuts both tucked in under the cut file and layered on the top of the cut file. Some enamel dots, the gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine and the flair button are all from my stash and were added for a little extra detail.

Thanks so much for stopping by this week!

Ho Ho Ho | Pink Paislee Yuletide | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!

It's Tarrah McLean and today I am back to share another Christmas layout with you!
I am working with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Yuletide collection so keep an eye out for some festive inspiration using this collection for the next couple of weeks!

I have had this photo of my son printed out for quite a few years and I finally found a reason to use it on a page! As you can see by the date stamp, the photo was taken 6 years ago!

I cut the green Ho, Ho, Ho journal spot from the Deck the Halls paper to go right beside the photo and also layered a paper doily  from my stash underneath the photo. I tucked the gold striped acetate frame in the right hand side of the photo too. A couple of things from my stash added to this layout are the wood veneer tree, the wood veneer mini wreath, the phrase stickers and the tiny gold stars.

I love the Santa's from this collection, they are super cute and go perfectly with my cute Santa! I used a puffy sticker one and a larger die-cut one layered over the photo and the journal spot. I also really like how the flair button sits over the top of the wreath, the wreath acts like a grounding point for the flair button.
Thanks so much for stopping by this week!
