'Lucky in Love' ~ By Kylie

Hello lovely ones! Kylie with you all again today to share another layout with you using the Hazelwood collection by American Crafts.

Here is a little look at the completed layout-

I really wanted the butterfly's and bloom's be the statement for this layout which is why I opted for a dominate white background.

I began with a wreath background.There is something about white on white that appeals to me.I love the crisp lines and softness of colour.

I fussy cut quite a few of the Butterfly print.......

Teamed with some of the die cuts ,I think they added a nice touch.

Agnus | Everyday Moments

Hi again :) I've got a layout to share this week using a splash of paint and some gorgeous rose gold foiled paper from Prima's Rose Quartz collection. 

As much as I loved the beautiful rose gold detail in the Rose Quartz collection, the colours were not working with this particular photo, so I decided to add some contrast with a splash of 'night' in the awesome range of acrylic paint from Dina Wakley Media!

 I love the heavy bodied consistency and matte properties of this paint and have been using quite a lot of it for my art journal pages for #the100dayproject on Instagram, but for this layout I was after a softer effect and decided to dilute the paint with a generous amount of water to create a colour wash similar to what you would get from watercolour but with less translucency and more depth.   

I used a few simple layers behind the photo and fussy cut several feathers from the 'Grace' patterned paper that I positioned down the page. I used my scissors to add a few extra snips around the base of each feather to give them a more realistic appearance.

 I also used the Dina Wakley Media paint to add some stamped detail down one side of the page. Using the paint in place of ink was easy to do... I simply spread a few drops of paint onto a non-stick craft matt, mixed in a little bit of water to create a more fluid consistency and used a sponge to apply the paint onto the surface of the stamps as you would with ink. This little Kelly Purkey 3x4" stamp set has already become a fave for my project life pages, and I love the detail it also adds to a full sized layout.

So Hungry | Bella Blvd Alex Collection | Tarrah McLean

Hi Sassy Scrappers!
It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I am sharing another layout created using the awesome Alex collection by Bella Blvd! This is the 6th layout I have now created with these awesome products and I still have 1 more to share! I think 7 layouts from a few papers and embellishments is excellent value, don't you?!

When I saw all the food related ephemera pieces in the Alex collection I just knew I had the perfect photo to use on this layout! My 11 year old certainly likes to think with his stomach so this layout is him to a tee! I added lots of the food related die-cuts to compliment my layout plus some of the wood veneer and stickers too!

The black zig zags are from the 12 x 12 sticker sheet, I cut it up into 3 different pieces so that I could place them strategically around my layout! I like how the black really pops against the yellow background! My title is made up of the grey alphabet stickers also included on the 12 x 12 sticker sheet!

Smile Often Layout by Farrel Tailor

Good Morning Sassy Fans!!! Farrel here to share with you all a different type of layout that I am use to creating....Clean Scrapping!!! This month is all about Vicki Boutin's Mixed Media range. So here is my first layout for the month.

I started by using some Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Ephemera Die Cuts with gold foil to layer my photo. 

I then used the number stamps from Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Stamps & Dies - Floral and drew on them using Vicki Boutin Art Crayons Set 1. To activate the crayons I then sprayed the stamps with water and stamped onto my layout.

 I also stamped the numbers using Prima Chalk inks Teal Damask and Turquoise Stone along with Watering Can Archival Ink until I was happy with the layers.

Now it was time to use more of the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Ephemera Die Cuts with gold foil to add some layer to the background. And how awesome are the numbers? It matched everything perfectly!!!

I added a gold outline on some of the number die cuts using a Sharpie and then all there was left to do was to doodle around the layout and add my journaling.

Skate Dude | Bella Blvd Alex Collection | Tarrah McLean

Hi there Sassy Scrappers! It's Tarrah McLean back with you today to share a new layout using the Bella Blvd Alex collection!

Whether you have younger or older boys to scrapbook, the Alex collection is so perfect for both! I have a 6 year old and an 11 year old and I have found these to be super easy to create pages using these products! 

My eldest son is currently into skateboarding...we have a ramp not too far from our home so we will often spend an afternoon there! Its also great for my younger son, who just rides his bike around!

I focused on using mainly on the grey, black and blue colours on this layout! The triangles is a cut file I used from Just Nick Studio....I ended up not using the full cut file, I cut some of it up and just used pieces of it.
